To the Esteemed Elenwen, First Emissary of the Thalmor:
From Kethrina’s journal entry, it appears it will be some time before she joins the College. I was unaware she had been a member of the Synod, but I already contacted a colleague of mine stationed in Cyrodiil. She’ll dig into those records for me.
The vampire attack in Winterhold that she described is only one of the attacks in Skyrim, as you are no doubt aware. Their attacks seem to be concentrated in the hold capitals. I suspect it is because they have the highest concentrations of people, i.e. potential sources of food.
While this would cause greater strife in Skyrim, they could also cause grave problems for us. Therefore, I believe it is our best interests to help stop them before we begin to suffer the consequences of their actions. Helping to stop them will also improve our reputation among the Imperials.
Kethrina is currently on her way to Fort Dawnguard. To get there, she needs to go through a narrow tunnel inside a mountain. It may be possible to pin her inside.
As always, I will continue to update you regarding Kethrina’s movements.
