Interlude #3: A New Player Enters the Game

To Ambarys Rendar:

This letter is to inform you that you have been assigned a new agent.

She is Tervesa Kaushad, one of the veterans who was recalled due to the impact the current state of the war and the dragon attacks have had on our forces.

I believe you already know each other, but to refamiliarize you: She is a native of Windhelm, born 4E 129. She was a battlemage during the Great War, and then was trained to be a covert agent in Skyrim. She assumed the cover of a traveling bard, which I believe she will use again (she achieved this by being a talented musician and singer, as well as a full member of the Bards College).

Kaushad should report to you in one or two days. She, as well as several other agents who will also report to you, will have two ongoing assignments:

1st: She is to monitor the activities of the Stormcloaks. So long as she does not appear to take a side, she should be able to survey their camps under the guise of entertaining them.

2nd: She is to search for Tel’kiira Kethrina. The dragon attacks have been steadily increasing since her disappearance, and the Dragonborn is the only one who can defeat them. She must be found and convinced to join our side. Kaushad is to use peaceful means if at all possible, but if not I authorize the use of force.

I have enclosed copies of Kethrina’s journals, including the images she captured using the Memory Crystal. Further details of her mission are enclosed in the sealed envelope.
